I'm incredibly thankful to have been elected as one of your five At Large City Councilors in November of 2023. It is crazy to think two years has already passed, but as they say time flies when you're having fun! During my two years on the City Council I am proud to have drafted and passed free dog licenses for Attleboro seniors and disabled veterans to help eliminate extra bills our seniors face. I feel measures like this are crucial to ensuring we are working towards sensible solutions here in Attleboro to protect our growing senior population. I have also been a strong fiscal hawk for your hard earned tax dollars ensuring that the city is fiscally smart and that every expense is one crucial to the safe and growing operations of the city. I feel now more than ever it is extremely important to have someone like me serving on the council as we need to ensure we are saving for the large infrastructure needs ahead, the rising healthcare and education costs, and of course inflation specifically regarding energy here in Massachusetts.
From knocking doors and from constituent feedback over the last few years, I've heard and share many concerns regarding the path that the city is on, and I believe thus far I've been a fair and strong advocated for families throughout our city to ensure your voices don't go unheard. I will never back down or be afraid to speak aloud on your behalf, and I feel it is clear during meetings that I deeply care about this city and its residents and every decision and vote made is done so based upon the immense feedback from involved citizens like you!
I humbly ask for your support on Tuesday November 4th to Re-Elect Nicholas Lavoie for City Council At Large
